Let's Show We Care

Story

We can all make a difference and help those in need

January 2011, like many others I am still in the festive Merry New Year mode. But not far from where we are standing, there are many families who are effected by the Queensland Flood crisis.

At times like this I feel very grateful for everything that I have but I can't help shedding a tear thinking of the unfortunate ones especially those who have lost their loved ones. With this I am raising money to support the victims of the Queensland Flood crisis and would like to welcome all of you my family and friends to show that we care by making any contribution, great or small, that you could make.

Funds raised go to Lifeline's Community Recovery Program which is specifically designed to provide support to individuals and communities affected by disasters or events.

You can contribute with a secure online donation option.

Thank You for making a difference!

With much appreciation,
Cayenne

UnitingCare Community’s work is based on the model of person-centred care and reflects the organisation’s shared values of compassion, justice, respect, working together and leading through learning.
